About the Role

We are seeking a C and Python Developer to support maintenance, bug fixing, automation, validation, and minor enhancements for existing software components. The role requires hands-on development and debugging experience, along with the ability to work with existing codebases and use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot responsibly.

Job Description

The role focuses on maintaining and supporting existing C and Python codebases, analyzing production issues, reproducing defects, debugging root causes, and implementing controlled fixes. The resource will also contribute to scripting and automation initiatives that reduce manual effort.

The position includes support for validation, regression, and release testing, including updating BDD test cases as required. The engineer may also provide part-time support for OpenPKI and PKI-related activities, including certificates, CAs, CSRs, enrollment, renewal, and revocation.

The candidate will collaborate with internal teams, SBUs, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain clear documentation for fixes, testing updates, known issues, and handover activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for maintenance, bug fixes, issue analysis, and minor enhancements.
• Develop, debug, and maintain existing C and Python codebases.
• Analyze support tickets, reproduce issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Develop Python scripts and automation to reduce manual activities.
• Support validation, regression, and release testing activities.
• Create or update BDD test cases based on team requirements.
• Support OpenPKI and PKI-related activities involving certificate lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders while maintaining technical documentation.
