About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PIM Functional Technical Consultant – Syndigo to serve as an end-to-end Product Information Management (PIM) Subject Matter Expert. The role combines functional consulting, solution design, technical implementation, product data governance, and integration expertise to support seamless product information management across eCommerce, ERP, and DAM platforms.

Job Description

The role involves gathering and translating business requirements related to product data taxonomy, attributes, enrichment workflows, governance, and approval processes into functional and technical solutions. The consultant will design and implement PIM configurations, workflows, and data models while ensuring product data quality and omnichannel readiness.

The position also requires designing and validating API-based integrations with ERP, DAM, eCommerce, and planning systems using REST, SOAP, and event-driven patterns. The candidate will support environment setup, CI/CD pipelines, data migration, performance optimization, troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement, and user enablement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather PIM requirements for taxonomy, attributes, product data, and enrichment workflows.
• Define product information governance models, approval processes, and compliance standards.
• Prepare functional specifications and align solutions with business KPIs and data quality objectives.
• Design and implement Syndigo PIM configurations, workflows, and data models.
• Design and validate API-based integrations with ERP, DAM, eCommerce, and planning systems.
• Guide PIM environment setup across Dev, QA, and Production and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Plan and support data migration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for PIM-related functional and technical requirements.
• Provide training and enablement to product enrichment teams and content authors.
• Collaborate across business and technology teams to ensure effective product data governance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have approximately 15 years of experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Syndigo PIM, product data governance, functional consulting, solution design, and technical implementation. The candidate should possess strong Retail/eCommerce domain knowledge and be capable of bridging business and technology teams while leading requirements, integrations, data migration, and PIM transformation initiatives.
