About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in OpenText Documentum to develop, configure, customize, and maintain enterprise content management solutions. The role requires hands-on experience across Documentum Content Server, DFC, DQL, REST APIs, JMS, ACS, D2, xCP, and InfoArchive.
Job Description
The role involves end-to-end software development activities, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, configuration, debugging, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The candidate will work on both backend and frontend components where applicable and build business applications using the relevant Documentum platforms.
The position also involves database interaction, application-server configuration, workflow development, platform customization, technical troubleshooting, and maintaining comprehensive technical and user documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, customize, and maintain OpenText Documentum applications and enterprise content management solutions.
- Work with Documentum Content Server, DFC API, DQL, REST API, JMS, ACS, Repository, Thumbnail Server, and Composer.
- Configure and customize Documentum D2, including D2FS, C2, O2, and D2 workflows.
- Develop and configure Documentum xCP solutions using xCP Designer, xDA process templates, Java Services, and Query Models.
- Work with InfoArchive, including configurations, retention/holding jobs, connectors, search, forms, REST APIs, and exports.
- Configure and support application servers and development environments such as WebLogic, Tomcat, Eclipse, Linux Shell, Postman, and DqMan.
- Perform database-related development and integration using PostgreSQL, SQL, and PGAdmin.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring application stability, performance, and functionality.
- Collaborate with development and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, application documentation, and user guides.
